What areas are care workers trained in?

When a care worker joins Inner City Care they are screened and vetted, they then receive an induction to care which covers the care certificate, moving and handling, first aid, medication, safeguarding, mental capacity, dementia care, catheter care, pressure care, and infection control.  They will receive shadowing and supervision from a senior care worker/manager until they are assessed as competent in their role. We can also arrange client specific training from other professionals.

What should I expect once I have requested support from Inner City Care?

Once we have received your referral either by email or over the telephone, we aim respond immediately but do give us 48 hours during weekends and bank holidays. We will inform you there and then if we are able to meet your requirements, we will then arrange for an assessment of your needs, this  will take place at the address you would like the support to be provided.
